Tiny Outdoor Explorers (TOEs) provides:

Weekly Forest School sessions for 2-5 year olds

Monthly Outdoor Learning workshops for families home educating

Outdoor Birthday Parties

Explore and discover nature together, through environmental games, story & nature trails, crafts, mud play and campfire cooking. Hands on experience at TOEs helps build children's enjoyment and confidence in exploring the outdoors, respect and understanding of living things.


Join Lisa (qualified Forest School Practitioner & Environmental Educator) to discover nature and enjoy the outdoors, throughout the seasons – splashing in puddles and getting muddy is all part of the fun!


Tiny Outdoor Explorers has run weekly Forest School sessions for 2-5 year olds and their families since 2013.

Holiday Explorers Events

Family Nature Activity Trails for children aged 2-10 years
Explore, play and craft together.
Event is open 10:30am - 3pm.
Arrive at a time that suits you, stay as long or as little as you like.
Both trails will include finding minibeasts, mud play, nature weaving & giant bubbles
Tickets £8, siblings £6 ​

Minibeast Detectives

Tues 13th August

A minibeast themed activity trail, including creating a creature from clay, and making your own wood necklace or spinner

Autumn Adventures

Tiny Outdoor Explorers,
weekly forest school for 2 - 5 year olds, starts again​​ 
12th Sept - 25th Oct

75min sessions on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, in the woodland garden and shelter at TCV Hollybush, Kirkstall.
