Tiny Outdoor Explorers (TOEs) provides:

Weekly Forest School sessions for 2-5 year olds

Monthly Outdoor Learning workshops for families home educating

Outdoor Birthday Parties

Explore and discover nature together, through environmental games, story & nature trails, crafts, mud play and campfire cooking. Hands on experience at TOEs helps build children's enjoyment and confidence in exploring the outdoors, respect and understanding of living things.

 

Join Lisa (qualified Forest School Practitioner & experienced Environmental Educator) to discover nature and enjoy the outdoors, throughout the seasons – splashing in puddles and getting muddy is all part of the fun!

 

Tiny Outdoor Explorers has run weekly Forest School sessions for 2-5 year olds and their families since 2013, building a connection with nature and creating memories.

Upcoming Events
TCV Potato Day:
Sun 22nd Feb, 11am - 3pm

Potato Day is an annual celebration at TCV Hollybush, including different varieties of seed potatoes to buy, a seed swap, fire-baked potatoes and kids activities. Cafe 21 will be open for the event.​​

FKAP Spring Family Event, Minibeast Safari:
Sat 7th March, 10am - 12 noon

For families with children aged 3-10 years.

Discover nature on your doorstep with the Friends of Kirkstall Abbey Park (FKAP) and Tiny Outdoor Explorers, as we explore the different Park habitats and the minibeasts that live there. Hands on activities, games and crafts.

This event is FREE but tickets must be booked in advance​​

SPRING SEASONAL CIRCLE
Sat 21st March, 2:00 - 4:30pm

An afternoon aimed at parents & carers, to offer the chance to enjoy a craft activity, cook a snack on the fire, discover seasonal tree folklore, relax and reflect in nature.  Outdoors in the woodland shelter at TCV Hollybush.

During the afternoon there will be the opportunity to:
* Weave a willow bird feeder
* Forage & cook with Wild Garlic
* Discover Willow and Alder tree folklore.
