Weekly sessions for 2 - 5 year olds
Nature is central to the Tiny Outdoor Explorers weekly sessions, which use Forest School and Environmental Education philosophies and techniques.The beautiful woodland wildlife garden at TCV Hollybush in Kirkstall, Leeds enables us to discover and explore nature through the changing seasons.
The sessions themselves have a flow, starting with a welcome circle in the woodland shelter. Each week there is a seasonally themed trail in the woodland garden, which you follow at your own pace, and as your child wishes. Free play opportunities, including mud play and exploring for minibeasts are encouraged every week. We have a fire to keep us warm on the colder days and enjoy campfire cooking, using seasonal ingredients, on a few sessions each half term. We finish with a nature craft or growing activity in the woodland shelter, and reflection on our days discoveries.
All sessions are designed and delivered by Lisa, qualified Environmental Educator and Forest School Leader.

Take a walk on the wild side with Tiny Outdoor Explorers and enjoy the smells and sounds of the woodland in summer.
Learn about butterflies, bees and dragonflies, discover what's for dinner if you're a minibeast, enjoy a couple of campfire cooking sessions and celebrate the end of term on a Gruffalo story trail.

Taster sessions
Taster sessions are available on Mondays and Thursdays & can be booked below - £8,
If you then wish to join enrollment is for the remainder of term If your child is under 2 and you think they would enjoy TOEs, you are welcome to give it a try.
Once you have booked the programme, if you are unable to attend your usual session you may attend another in the same week.
Siblings under 2 are welcome to join free of charge.
There is a reduced charge for siblings 2 - 5 years.
